It says in the app I can't turn off auto renewal and that it will bill to my Sam's credit card unless I call the toll free number to speak to a rep. So I just call them and cancel renewal and then once expired I can re-enroll and hopefully still link my Sam's credit card account and all that?

Three words, Scan and Go. If you're a regular Costco shopper, it'll change your life.

May be regional but my locations do not require membership to enter, just to purchase. You could go check out and see if you'd value a membership.

In the past, those store credits you get from singin up for Sam's Club membership came with hassle. Sometimes, poeple did not receive the sotre credits automatically and had to fight to get them. I have taken advantage of store credit with new membership at Sam's Club twice, and luckily, my store credits were automatically credited. (Once with free chicken, cookies, etc credits and 2nd time was $10 store crecdit.)

In opinion, it's better to post/refer a deal as it is, like "$20 for one year Sam's Club membership with $10 store credit", instead of "$10 one year Sam's Club membership (after $10 store credit supposedly gets credited)".

I use scan and go, but I wouldn't say it changed my life. Cmon man it's not that great

Agreed. Even after scan and go, I still had to wait in line for receipt checking at the door
