I've had these since day 1. The price is great. For anyone wondering how these compare to the XM4s, here are some pros & cons:
PRO:
- Smaller earbuds and case
- Claimed to have better battery durability (XM4s battery capacity significantly dropped within a year of heavy use)
- Sound on par with XM5 despite smaller size
- Replaced the spoken status with chimes (end result, quicker to resume playing)
- Senses touch more regularly than the XM4, which was pretty finicky
CON:
- New charging case can't fit large ear gels, resulting in poor connection/failed charging/accidental connection to phone
- This is the biggest annoyance as it requires me to remove the gels to charge them every day.
- Prefer the matte finish of the XM4 (as do many others)
- A little too sensitive to touch - I wear them to bed and on rare occasions, they are triggered by the pillow when by rolling over
Great deal but after the XM4 firmware debacle, I am not very sure about 90days warranty. I will personally wait for it to be on eBay with the 2 years warranty. Or buy the extended warranty if you really cannot wait.

We clearly have different concerns. I wouldn't gamble on them replacing the tips. But I know most of the returned items do not have functional issues, and if they have, they will fix/scrap them.
First thing I do with any earbuds is put new comply tips on them. ๐คท๐ผ โ๏ธ

I'd get the warranty for sure but I usually get my refurbs through ebay which have the 2yr warranty included. My Xm4s had the firmware issue and allstate just decided to cut me a check after the 2nd repair.
I had the WF-1000XM3. They lasted about a year before the right battery died. It was fairly easy to replace, but now every time I sweat (which is every time I use them, since they're workout headphones), the right earbud dies until they can dry out.
Would be fine for 20 dollar headphones. Not fine for 200 dollar headphones. Bought some Ankers that got better reviews at 1/3rd of the price. We'll see how that goes.

Buy a new set of air pods pro for $199 with a real warranty
That doesn't mess up the charging in the case?
I've been using various Samsung buds for years and no issues there
