This is not a dig on anyone who has replied or will reply, if you're asking if these tires would work for you and your particular bike, the answer is probably NO.
These are DHF/DHR/Disector/Assegai, which are Maxxis most popular AGGRESSIVE tires. They won't roll that well on concrete, they are likely all the EXO casing which makes them a solid mid-range trail tire and pretty much every mid to high end bike comes with a pairing of these.
If you're learning, check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2j2bjD
If you care I run on my rigs Front/Rear:
Trail - DHF/Dissector Both in EXO+
Enduro - Assegai/Dissector both in EXO+
SoCal, dry with loose over hardpack.

None of the ones listed here. Ikon or ardent would be what you're looking for
They have EXO and EXO+ in some designs. Lots of sizes. Fantastic deal.
I should have also picked up a 27.5" DHR II but bought some other crap instead....

They also have Rekon (more XC/Cross Country / "Traditional" MTB Tire)

Wonder if this has the new MaxxSpeed compound with silica with better speed but faster wear?
In any case no enduro/dh for me, just XC/trail, same loose over hard and Icons that came on the bike just don't have enough grip. Was thinking Dissector per Monkeynaut suggestion..
Talon should have no issue with going 2.2 to 2.4 either so more grip there as well.
We had that talon 1 with 42 teeth cog I remember I kept hearing my brother struggling going up long steep climbs and that was with xc tires lol
Do you know if these have the new Maxxspeed compound?
Also how these compare to Renegades?
