As much as I love iTunes, their Complete Season formatting leaves much to be desired. It would be nice if they would separate the seasons in a purchase like this, which I think Vudu does. Also, the "Watch Now" feature will sometimes direct you to a streaming service instead of your iTunes copy.
Trying to watch 30 Rock is a mess on Apple TV, S05E15 is #95, so it's a long scroll to get where you are at, and "Watch Now" tries to send me to Peacock…I don't want ads when I watch this, that's why I bought it on iTunes!
Nowadays, 8 seasons of a show is 64 episodes TOTAL. I surely miss when a season was 20-30 episodes per season.
Much easier to do with no overarching story, but is done rarely on network TV, see Person of Interest, at least most of its seasons. Kind of a feat, but even then, a lot of the episodes made no references to anything happening in other episodes or the story, so not strictly the same as the dramas that are singularly focused.
I've looked all around for a method to rewatch these episodes from my youth. I pondered the possibility that this show's footage had been lost or destroyed.

A lot of entertainment value here for $30! No other sitcom from the 60's comes anywhere close to still holding up like the Andy Griffith Show series does! Genuine humor often with a subtle parable without being preachy!
Especially seasons 1 through 5 (in black & white), with Don Knotts playing deputy Barney Fife, along with a raft of other memorable characters like Gomer, Goober, Floyd, Howard, Otis, Aunt Bee, Opie, Helen, Thelma Lou, Emmet, and many more.
Seasons 6 -8 (shot in color) not quite as good, with "Warren" replacing Barney Fife as Andy's deputy. But watchable still.

I thought it was on Pluto TV? Can be streamed live or watched on demand but with ads.

It is on PlutoTV. But $30 is worth it for someone who wants the complete series to be able to watch on demand without having to worry about if moving off of Pluto's rotation.
