Little blobs are 100% caused by moisture in the filament. PETG is very hygroscopic and will soak up moisture. Dry it out and it prints like a dream. Even brand new out of the case sometimes there is moisture in it.

I bought the translucent green earlier this year. For me it's a bit tricky to print. Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. It ended up with little blobs in the prints. The filament also formed globs around the nozzle. The prints ended up eye-catching, especially with any geometric shapes in the print.

Little blobs are 100% caused by moisture in the filament. PETG is very hygroscopic and will soak up moisture. Dry it out and it prints like a dream. Even brand new out of the case sometimes there is moisture in it.

Their translucent green has been one of my favorites for eye-catching prints! I just ordered all 3 of the translucent varieties! Thanks OP!

I'm a total printer newb and for my son's printer, we store the rolls in a sealed drybox, then bake them in a Sunco spool heater, then keep it at 50C while printing. We've almost never had the blobs everyone complains about since doing that.

Have you printed with PETG before? PETG is a bit less forgiving than PLA. PETG sticks to nozzles pretty badly and is less viscous than PLA, so it needs a lower flow rate and a z-offset. I had those issues when printing with PETG for the first time until I calibrated my flow rate for PETG and printed the first layer a little higher off the build plate. My settings for PETG are 97% flow rate and 0.06mm z-offset. YMMV, so your machine and filament may need slightly tweaked settings, but it's a good place to start. Most slicers also offer calibration prints that you can use. I find Superslicer's calibrations the easiest, but Prusaslicer and Cura also offer them. PETG will overextrude and stick to the nozzle if printed at 100% flow rate, leaving little blobs all over the print. The z-offset prevents filament from the first layer sticking to the nozzle, otherwise it will continue to stick to the nozzle throughout the print.
If you're not new to PETG and have your settings dialed in, it's also possible (as the other commenter mentioned) that the filament is wet. PETG absorbs moisture faster than PLA (though not nearly as bad as nylon) and will cause issues like stringing and general lower print quality.
