Typically this isn't a great deal, but for the people with the American Express Platinum who are using the $20 monthly credit for Audible, this might be useful.
Since the $20 monthly credit for Audible is going away on October 1st, some folks might be getting rid of a monthly Audible subscription. You lose all your credits if you do that, so you need to spend them beforehand.

Thanks for checking that. I vaguely recall being able to use a dollar credit without an active subscription so hoping it is the same with this promotion.
