I have three of these panels that I use with a few of my portable power stations. One panel is small enough that I can fit it in my car and take it camping with me. Obviously not as small as a folding unit, but the build quality is far superior to any folding panel.

I've also had excellent results with BougeRV's customer service. One of my panels had a small amount of white residue across one of the individual solar cells that looked like some of the encapsulant might have spilled over. I sent them an e-mail about it, asked if that was going to be an issue, and if I should return the panel to Amazon while my return period was valid. They responded by saying to keep that panel and they'd send me another one. In the process of sending that panel, it was shattered in transit. I contacted them again, sent pics of the damage, and they sent a second panel out. Each time, they were very helpful and responsive. The panel with the white residue performs just as well as the others, so I ended up keeping and using it.

On a full-sun day using my Ecoflow River 2, I can see 80W+ with regularity, and if I take the time to get the angle just right, I have seen 102W one time briefly. Overall, I have been very happy with them and for this price, they're a steal.

Yes, the River 2 will charge with any amount of solar, even down to single digit if that's all it is getting from the panel.

Note that the River 2 has a 120w solar input, so even if you did get a 160W+ panel, it will still only charge at a max of 120w. The 160W panel would do better in partial sun vs a 100W panel, but it would also be a lot larger.

Whatever panel you decide to get, you'll need to convert the output to a XT60 connector for the River 2. Folding panels normally come with adapters but these large glass panels typically have standard MC4 connectors. Note that the cables coming off the panel are also quite short (2-3 ft at most) so if you get a MC4 to XT60 cable, get one long enough to run to wherever you plan to use it.

Hi there, the code is PANEL0925. The codes will usually be in a pink color in the OP to indicate it's a clickable coupon code.

Bi-facial requires the panel to be tilted in such a way to collect light from front and back (reflected). Personally I have not ever tilted my panels on the RV, I just added a couple of extra to cover the reduced power generation.

not worth the hassle IMO

Possibly dumb question. When charging via AC, the River 2 lets you change the input wattage depending on how quickly you want to recharge it, but it bottoms out at 100W

With solar input, will the River 2 still charge if your panel is only delivery 80W or less? I have the River 2 and am trying to decide on a simple solar solution for road trips and I'm not sure if I want to go 100W panel or something like 160W or higher.

Awesome. Really appreicate the info. I knew about the connector but would have been surprised by the cable length.
