Bowers & Wilkins has their Px7 S2 Over-Ear Headphones on sale for $249. This is the lowest it's been for the S2 2022 model. You can also get it from Amazon, but only the blue version is sold by Amazon.
A lot of you is going to ask how they compare to Sony WH-1000XM5. Sony is going to have better noise cancellation. PX7 has better sound stage, clarity. Bass is very similar with both. In general the PX7 is going to sound more neutral.
The Px7 S2 have Bluetooth 5.2 with support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and aptX. XM5 does have LDAC. However, all bluetooth "lossless" codecs are lossy. The flacs get compressed anyways, so I wouldn't worry too much about the codecs.

The Px7 S2e have six microphones for noise cancellation. The microphones are positioned to ensure excellent call quality, even in noisy environments.
The headphones have a rechargeable lithium ion battery that provides 30 hours of playback. With a 15-minute charge, the headphones can provide seven hours of playback.
I opted for the XM5's and they're amazing.
This is minor, but the B&W has a mute button on their mic too. I use it all the time in airports.

These have more bass than the latest Beats headphones, but these high-end audio companies usually have advanced driver designs where the sound is more refined than measurements would imply.
New DSP, tuned more to be like the Px8s.
Still have not found a proper comparison.

The Px7 S2e have an upgraded DSP circuit that allows for tuning for "unmatched detail, dynamics and spaciousness". They also have a 15-minute quick charge, aptX HD support, and an EQ-equipped smartphone app.

I agree with this, I bought S2 for $400 last year when they were new. I preferred them over the Sony's because I felt Sony's have a lot of bass comapred B&W, the dialogues while watching series/movies also sounded more clear on the S2. Also I preffered using buttons over the gesture controls of sony.
Noise cancelling had negligible difference between the two.
Don't want to comment on confort since it's different for everybody but I can wear the S2 for over 8 hours without them heating up my ears (on a flight)
If the PX7 is similar, they'd be over-ear.
