You can if you ask nicely. No one should care.

I was a waiter there long ago and I used to place multiple "refills" before the check would come and pack them up to go depending on the customer. Particularly college kids - I knew money was tight, being one myself at the time, and a bunch of leftovers would change my week quite a bit. That and they paid me like $3.50/hr. Darden restaurant bottom line was the least of my concerns.

No worries if you don't like this restaurant (I'm personally not the biggest fan) but please don't bash it too much as it's my 9 year old son's favorite place, so I'm sure there are many other OG lovers out there too... both kids and adults alike

Happy eating!

That would be a topping and I think it's an extra $2 but not sure on current price.

So $16 + tip = no deal. Not counting the salad and bread sticks we can do this much
cheaper at home and feed way more and have leftovers.
But you are not paying for gas/electric for cooking, no need to clean all the dishes and saving all the energy/time from grocery shopping and prepping.

that's not really a restaurant, that's a fast food joint.
I think 5 Guys considers themselves fast casual now, but IMO they're seriously overpriced for the quality of their food.

If you wear the same disguise you might be able to swap in and out and share 1 meal. Twins only. YMMV.
Ha, I've never thought about twins swapping out for each other at AYCE places. Love it.

Same, feels like they peaked about 15 years ago when they were priced more reasonably compared to other burger joints. Their prices are now at or above most sit down restaurants for essentially a backyard bbq burger.

You don't tip if you pickup? Cooks deserve tips too.
I stopped going to OG because they stopped allowing pickup and only allowed curbside (with forced tip). And no, I've never, not once in my life, considered tipping for pickup. Cooks get paid a salary or hourly.

Whoa, don't ever mention not tipping ever (regardless of the circumstances).

Gas or electric for your car, time it takes to get ready to go than travel, wait to eat then eat and go back home.

No deal at current price for us. No reason for others to do as they want.

$2 toppings ? This isn't a medium pizza 🍕 😂

Try $5 to $9
I haven't gone and said I am not sure on current pricing but I am sure a few meatballs added will not cost you $9.

Maybe others have gone and posted what the topping charge is for them.

No thanks, tipping has ruined the dining experience.
Tipping has always been standard when dining out and I'm talking at least the last 30+ years. If you can't afford to tip, you shouldn't go out to eat.

Thank you this is a great price!

Thank you to the geniuses pointing out that you can make food at home for cheaper than eating out.

PS: tipping for eating at a restaurant has ALWAYS been customary.

When was the last time they did buy one get one to go?
That was the worst deal, the second dish was like a pre packaged frozen food. No flavor, that's when I realized OG quality went so low it wasn't worth it

Lol it's the same food. They didn't manage an entirely separate supply chain to serve lower quality food than they already are.
