Same with the first one I got, but for the price thats fine. 18" shovels of better durability will be greatly more expensive.

From what I've read the shovels with an offset "scoop" for the snow are best for one's back. I changed to that kind of snow shovel and they have been great for my lower back. Much easier to lift the snow and toss it to the side. This one is not one of those.

I had one for 3 years and loved it. Not easy to push at all, however the dual handle makes it painless to quick toss the snow. For $15 I'd say it's worth it.

FYI, these only retail $25ish and not $50

Best ergonomic shovel. The leverage you get with the dual handle allows you to toss a shovel full with ease. Most average height people can use this shovel without having to fully bend and strain their lower back.

For $15 why not? We barely had snow last year, but I have a feeling that it is going to be snowy this year in the North East.

I have had one of these for a few years (not clear) and its the only way you can lift snow the 4 feet high snow level we had last winter.
