I have these shorts. Regular, medium. The inseam is 7". They have a brief style liner inside and the material is a bit stretchy.

They're just baggy enough that movement is very free but not so baggy that you feel like you're swimming in them. I lift weights, run and row in them, no range of motion issues but I'm also slim so YMMV if you're heavy

What does "Regular" mean in the sizing?

There are "Regular" and "Long" sizes though the accompanying chart does not define the inseam length for men's shorts.

Agreed, that was the first thing I looked at. Have to believe these are at least 7" by the pics, which, IMO, are not running shorts.
