On any given day/sale the exact tool I want is rarely on special or an amazing price. But for those who keep a wishlist of them and track the prices you can get some amazing deals at DTO.

It's common knowledge now that factory blemished at DTO is brand new not blemished and only labeled as such to get around TTI's exclusive Home Depot contract.

Picked up a bunch of lights I need last week for under $22 each. They're $89 each at Depot and best sale at HD ever has been $45 on them. Over the last few years I've gotten many similar wishlist items.

Takes a bit of time and patience, but can definitely get far better deals on DTO when things line up. And unfortunately in recent times you usually need to be ordering a number of items to not have the shipping fee affect the deal as much.

Factory Blemished is New. There is no difference.

DTO has to sell as "Blemished" due to their contract with Home Depot.

It's not a scam and is--for many things, but not everything--a significant savings. For example, with this deal, the bug zapper is $50+ shipping at DTO (factory blemished, which as others explained is same as new) versus $132 at Home Depot.

Does anyone have any experience with the bug zapper? Is it any good?
I bought the bug zapper on a sale at DTO in the spring. I used it all summer camping and hanging out on my deck, it works great and is very satisfying every time you hear a zap. Ended up getting my father in law one for his bday for him to use at their summer camp. I was running with a 4ah battery which I could get at least 10hrs run time. Highly recommend.

Too bad that they don't sell Dewalt items.
er... why would they sell Dewalt items? TTI does not manufacture Dewalt tools and this is their discount factory store selling surplus products of their discount brands they make except their premier Milwaukee line.

Factory reconditioned is a scam. Factory blemished is a deal when the sale is significant enough. Not everything goes on sale.
It depends on the item
I picked up the reconditioned 40v expand it trimmer with battery and charger for $80 (Summer 40% off sale).

Been working great trimming and edging. Can't touch this new for less than $100.

I've been tracking the 600psi power washer for close to 6 months. I've never seen it budge from its $99 price. Unfortunately at this point that is about the only thing I want that is made by Ryobi. I've picked a lot of things from them over the years but I'm lucky and have a store near by so I don't have to worry about shipping. Also have found better prices in store and they also have dewalt tools there.
There was a 50% off sale in June.
I picked up the 40V* with battery for $110. It does not have the same number of attachments as the $190 version at HD, but you can buy all the attachments from DTO to get a similar price. I haven't seen the 600psi kit drop this summer at HD to last year's $159 price.

According to reviews, the 18v and 40v perform the same. 600psi. I assume the 40v just lasts longer. I bought the 40v bc I was getting into the 40v ecosystem and got the extra battery. It is bulkier, so some may not like the 40v.

I saw that deal but passed due to the extra weight. I also don't have any need for 40v tools so having just one didn't seem practical. I'm probably just going to order it from HD soon since it is only $5 more and I have an easy return if I don't like it.

I probably should check at one of our local "resale" shops that only sells tools. There are a couple of them that must just buy pallets of returned tools from HD/Lowes. I've only been once but they have a lot of tools and they seemed to be 40 to 50% off retail.

They actually do sell Miwaukee at the physical outlet stores. I've never really paid attention to the prices so I have no clue how much cheaper they are than a normal retail store.

Not sure what others think about the Wet/dry hand vacuum. But I love it for what I use it for which is small items I can see on the floor etc. I paid full price because of a need for a cordless option. I used it for water once and it worked but did not hold much. It does not have anywhere the suction of a corded dirt devil. But it is a battery tool. If I was closer to the do I would personally get another one just to have in my basement for 22 dollars and almost did at 35. I am picking up crumbs and small items mostly but love the convenience. Just used it this week for drywall dust when installing a door.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll buy one for $22. Maybe use it for the interior of my car.
