seller has lots of bad feedback but the summary box says all five and four star.
reviews were 100% giveaways.
i can see this going frontpage.

Looking further at the seller reviews, it looks like most negative reviews were from people whose products were fulfilled by Amazon, not the seller. Therefore, Amazon takes responsibility, and it's not counted towards the seller's overall rating.
how do you know tney were fulfilled by amazon, if there's no strike-thru?

By going to the seller's page and filtering to see the negative reviews. Looking at the screenshot here [imgur.com] (just a sample, but most of their reviews are like this), their negative reviews seem to come mostly from Amazon-fulfilled items, not the seller itself.
with just the default seller profile view, it's showing critical reviews at the rate of around one every five, and they don't seem to be referencing the fulfillment experience (i doubt amazon lost the referenced missing items).
the summary showing there are zero three/two/one-star ratings is really misleading of amazon.
but of course, what do you have to do to get less than 100% when you are fulfilling via amazon? broken by design.
Agree. Worse is that you'll have to swap out the fastening hardware...like you do for many products like this.
I bought a diff version two years ago (https://a.co/d/3UzkY5d) for $20 per set to store about 80lbs and had to do that but have had no issues.

I could be doing something wrong, of course
You should see what happened to the last guy that said "it's probably hard to mess up brackets" and "as long as they used the right steel" 😬
