I got the Husky set that mimics this setup (minus the worktop) for $900. That was the superior deal IMO, but no time machine.

I returned this set and got the pro. Ended up getting a second pro set. Looking to complete the garage with a third set. But prices have gone up considerably since COVID. As did everything else.

Pro much heavier and better quality. The regular set has wobbly doors. The pro set are heavy and make a satisfying sound when they close. Not a tincan sound the wobbly ones make.

The pro set is on sale too. Placed an order

TLDR; Owned for 4 years, has held up well and would repurchase.

Bought this set Dec 2019 for $1299 off Costco and it's held up quite well. I'm certainly not a 'power user' of it - but do get in and out of the cabinets at least weekly. The bamboo top has held up and the LED light strip is a nice touch. Very glad I purchased and would do so again, even if it were $200 more (stupid inflation).

The doors are a bit 'tinny' and aren't heavy-duty, but again, for my use they work really well. I still need to figure out some shelves / racks for the upper cabinets, as there's quite a bit of wasted space just setting things on the bottom.

Wasn't too difficult, from what I recall, to install. Was delivered on a pallet (2?) and took a couple of hours - hardest part was ensuring the anchor bolts found a home in the center of a stud to ensure it all stayed on the wall. Assembly was done by just me, but would have gone quicker w/ an extra set of hands.

I also added a couple strips of weather-stripping to the front lip of the bamboo top to help prevent door dings when we need to park close.

I bought this set pre-pandemic for $1299 primarily just for the two- 30" wide multi-use tall cabinets. I needed the 30" wide multi-use bold cabinets because I was width constrained and wanted to match my 6 newage pro upper cabinets that I used for garage configuration.

I agree with the other posters who have the pro's, they're way nicer, bigger, and heavier duty than their Bold counterparts. As I said before, I really only bought this set for the two big cabinets, and I knew dimensionally exactly what I was getting with those, but I was actually pretty shocked at how small the base and upper cabinets were. The pictures on Costcos website make them look much bigger and more impressive than what you actually get. Just pay close attention to the dimensions and hopefully you won't be disappointed.

It's also worth noting that these Bold base drawer units are not only very tiny, but also very cheap feeling. The drawers do feature ball bearing slides, but I'm still not sure you'd want to load too many heavy tools in them.

If your max budget is $1499, then I'd say go for it. The bolds still are decent, small cabinets and way better quality than any of the cheap RTA cabinets I saw when shopping around, But if you've got the extra money, definitely go with Pros.

This is a good deal. I bought the 8 piece from Wayfair for 1250. Good quality and pretty straight forward assembly. Not required to install on one wall if your space is limited. Jealous of this deal!

I'm a new homeowner as well and my garage has boxes and things everywhere, but I look at this as a long term investment and worse case I can always return it to Costco
I think everyone was with you until you said "worst case return to Costco..."

I have their previous model 2.0 version and they are solid for what you are paying for. Newage Customer service was great since they forget to ship out my counter top. Remember to do the count and damages with the third party delivering company and have them note and signed the delivery recipe. The recipe will be your only proof of something is damage or not included with delivery. I would recommend you being their for delivery.
