Code works for me. I am in the market for a laptop but don't know if I really want to pay $854 for a refurb. I do want to game a bit though so I might pull the trigger, thanks op.

Will this deal be around Oct 1st? my chase card has 5% cash back on PayPal purchases starting then.

Looks like the RTX 3070-Ti is the 6th fastest/most powerful laptop GPU available (RTX 4090/4080/3080-Ti/4070/3080/3070-Ti in order). Comparing to its place in the mobile/laptop GPU hierarchy does that sweeten this deal any further?

This is largely correct, although depending on the specific title and laptop, the 3070 Ti has outperformed the 4070 in testing (videos available on YouTube, reviews available via Google). What you're missing out on going with 3 series instead of 4 is DLSS 3.0/3.5, so if that's important to you, you should go for the 4 series. For my purposes, based on reviews and testing, I am super happy to have grabbed this at this price. The 2 year Allstate protection made it a no brainer as well (for me, at least).

I already have an Omen with a full power RTX 3070, so hopefully with a bit of waiting, I can get something with a 4080/4090 or a high end Radeon part for a good deal (although it certainly won't be the $799 seen here).

Heck, just the graphics card is selling for $500-$600. Basically, getting everything else for an extra $200-$300.

The "graphics card for $500-$600" is a desktop 3070ti, which is not even the same chip. NVidia names the mobile processor a 3070ti so that you think it's the same, but it's pretty much entirely different.

Nonetheless, it's a good graphics processor. Great for games.

The fans are super loud if they run full blast. Fortunately, I haven't had that happen much at all. I think a lot of the refurbs were because of overheating issues, i.e. poorly applied thermal grease at the factory. My refurb was a mess inside with the grease. I cleaned it up, and so far so good.

I've uninstalled most of the bloatware already. There was a fair bit, but less than I was expecting.
