This is my edc. High quality and great blade. I abuse mine quite a bit and the black finish is wearing, but otherwise it's solid. Great weight to it and the blade geometry makes it very easy to sharpen. Highly recommend.

I've edc'ed a Kershaw Knockout for nearly 15 years. Can't beat em, love their knives

For $5 less the Civivi Dogma still on sale from this older deal is nearly half the weight, has better blade steel (D2) and great action:

Which is better: this one or the factory seconds USA made from the other deal?

I'm still looking for that perfect pocket knife without breaking the bank. This seems like what I'm looking for, but I don't know what steel I'm looking for. FYI this was under $30 last month and $25 in August.

I rock a Kershaw Blur, and love how it operates, but the curve to the blade makes it tricky to sharpen.

This is also my edc. Great knife, I dig the heft, size and durability. Also let's you know if you left your knife in your pants (when changing) with a hefty "thump" Smilie

It's true that hollow ground blades are harder to handle

Pocket clips are never for show.

I have a different model of a Kershaw 8Cr13MoV that I have had for 10 years. I paid about $20. It has held up well. It is easy to sharpen and holds an edge reasonably well.
