Why would anyone buy this over the cheaper SN850x for less. Sometimes you can find the 2TB without heatsink for under $100 then just slap a $5 heatsink on it.
For $5 more u can get a Samsung 990 Pro with Heatsink. I only recommend this for PC use, not for a PlayStation 5. I bought a 2tb Nextorage with heatsink for $105 on newegg. Works just as expected.

The drives may be identical, but does anyone know if the 850p gets something extra with the ps5?
I'm not debating if they are identical. Companies do this all the time and lock features already present on their products for pricing/tiers reasons.
