Upon opening link (opened in app) it popped a full screen ad for 15% off which appears to have stacked for about 459 before tax. Let me get the photo. YMMV, I have no idea what triggered it.

For me it's 400nits and decent-ish battery life in a 3:2 format. For many older industry specific programs (POS telnet or DOS or whatever) don't resize in a user friendly way. This is half the price of getting into a surface, and I don't need speed. I need bright and dependable.
Here's some good information. The processor is the i7 in the review, so it'll be a bit different, But this references the i5 versions in several places as well.
'Unusual for ThinkPad laptops, but normal for detachable tablets: There is only one screen option. It is a 3:2 panel with a diagonal of 12.3 inches.
...Lenovo advertises a brightness value of 400 cd/m². The ThinkPad X12 screen can fulfill this promise. Peak brightness was measured at 419 cd/m², with an average of 406 cd/m² ...it exhibits no PWM, different from the Surface."

Seems like a targeted offer. I got the same coupon as well. Looks like there are 2 versions, one with the 1130G7 and one with the 1140G7 which is clocked higher. Look out for that version. $503 total with taxes.
My 2012 and 2014 MacBooks still work to this day. The 2014 is running Maverick and will upgrade to Sonoma shortly thanks to Open Core Patcher. Can't really say that for most Windows laptops. There's value in that amount of longevity and support, just like there's value in a cheap Windows laptop. Just get what works for you.
I mean in that case my HDX16t from 2008ish is still running, updated to Windows 10. Little one using it for some kids games. Just like you can use open core patcher to get Sonoma, some tweaks and this laptop can update to latest Windows as well.
Seller rating is only 97.9 which seems risky for a refurb item. Is this refurbed by the seller?
97.9% is risky? If you look at the breakdown of the negative reviews, I would agree that there are buyer concerns noted that people should make themselves aware of going in to the purchase but I hardly think that the seller rating would be the red flag for me

Not even close. That's a dual core 7th gen that isn't even compatible with Windows 11. There's a reason it's so cheap. It's much less than half the speed of this
