My 2012 and 2014 MacBooks still work to this day. The 2014 is running Maverick and will upgrade to Sonoma shortly thanks to Open Core Patcher. Can't really say that for most Windows laptops. There's value in that amount of longevity and support, just like there's value in a cheap Windows laptop. Just get what works for you.
I have a 2014 ASUS Q502LA. It's running Windows 11 (Tiny11 - A lightweight version). https://www.tomshardware.com/how-...11-builder

It's running just as well as my much newer laptops for office work (Office 365 or Google Office Suite) and surfing the web. You can hardly tell the difference. For sure it is much better than a 2014 MacBook running Sonoma (which is still full of bloatware from Apple).

Little late to the party, but we have two of these that we bought from a previous deal for about $650 new each when Lenovo clearance them out after they failed to dethrone the Microsoft surface. Good for what they are, nice little portable laptop tablet combos. One interesting nice effect is that my college age kid managed to destroy their keyboard, but with these the keyboards are removable and I found an eBay seller selling them new for $30. Grabbed a few extras since the kid's a klutz and I don't have to worry about destroyed keyboards. I use a rechargeable HP pen on mine

Finally this is a used machine. And in used machine category, there are many Dell 2 in 1s available with better dollar value..

This one for $200

If anyone uses ZIP as the payment method EBAY is offering 6% CB on TOP of other rewards. This is due to ZIPFEST.

Can't make the comparison between the two platforms if you're using open core as a basis. Open core is an awesome hacktool designed to bypass EFI limitations. If that's the case, then we have Dell latitudes from 2010 running Windows 11 Pro beautifully using similar types of bypass tools

Genuinely curious about why you value Windows 11 compatibility. I've always found Windows 10 to be more user friendly.

I received the tablet with keyboard today. Came in a generic brown box wrapped in protective plastic pillow. Tablet and keyboard both look brand new with no signs of use. However, the pen is missing and Touch doesn't work at all. This seems to be a somewhat common issue with the X12 and seller offered to issue a RMA. Good luck to everyone who has ordered one.

Update.

The seller sent me a return Label and no option for replacement. I have to purchase it again at a higher price as the eBay coupon is no longer valid.
Bummer, as I really liked the x12 but the touchscreen seems to a known issue.

I saw this device on Amazon from the same seller. I may purchase with a warranty just in case.
