Build quality is decent and mostly plastic build. Performance is more than adequate for your needs. One caviat is that the display is not very bright and mainly good for indoor use.

I actually ended up buying this one yesterday before this deal was posted. It comes with a better CPU than most similarly priced laptop deals.

I'm assuming this model comes with the TN panel version? Office Depot doesn't mention "IPS" anywhere and the 3rd option on HP's website appears to show there's a non-IPS version (3rd option on the list).
