This deal should also work on the other Fender price dropped guitars and basses, if anyone's interested in those as well

Must...not...buy....must not buy.......

I still have the MIJ 50s reissue Strat I bought in the late 80s and it's a great guitar. I wonder how these compare.

This is actually a great deal, and they aren't making more of this model at least

Same, still that blue one is TEMPTING! Can I justify this if I sell 3 mid-level Squiers? JAPAN.

I wonder how these would compare to this?

Why is a this basswood though? I thought that was only for their cheaper guitars.

MIJ Fenders are as good as MIA ones. This guitar should stomp on that Player's.

1. Buy both.
2. Swap necks.
3. Sell the other one.
4. ???
5. Profit! (Ok probably not, but then you get the guitar you want 😇)

I'd much rather have the MIJ.

(And personally I don't like the quarter pounders… I've bought them twice because I like them on paper (I.e. the marketing lol), but they just end up sounding so boomy and harsh to play. To me, personally. You may love them. Everybody's pickup preferences are different.)

MIJ is no what it use to be IMO… I feel like MIM are on par and in some cases better than MIJ. All depends on the model.

Good price. If you want the Strat from the International Collection (these city-themed colors), check out Ikebe Gakki Outlet.

Expect shipping to be ~$180 from Japan, which would put this one at around $850 also.
