Nope. The last time it was posted it was around $755.

If you have the Amex offer on this, then it's definitely a no-brainer if you want an overall capable laptop.

idk but 3060 g16 is still 799 at microcenter and 3060 is generally 25-50% better than 3050 ti..

g16 seemed really good in person, good keyboard and screen and build quality

only thing i didnt like about g16 7620 is only 1 m.2 ssd slot

g16 7630 - the newer g16 - has 2 m.2 ssd slots now

was going to get the 3060 g16 at microcenter but went for higher tier

the g16 was what i was looking at in this price range tho

Debating between the:
Lenovo LOQ 15 15.6" Gaming Laptop FHD R7-7840HS 16GB RAM 512GB SSD RTX 4060 8GB posted here a few days ago for $870

and

Dell G16 7620: 16" QHD+ 165Hz, i7-12700H, RTX 3060, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD at microcenter for $800

Dell has much better screen and 1TB storage vs Lenovo's new RTX 4060 and newer Ryzen processor. From what I can tell, the dell will operate much hotter but performance is likely to be nearly the same except for games that support frame generation. Which do you think has more value per dollar?

yea, the g16 isnt the top performing 3060

the lenovos 7840hs is a bit faster than the g16s 12700h both in single and multi thread..

i think it may come down to whether ur ok with fhd on the lenovo

Someone always comments this. This laptop is a terrible deal though. Would be lucky to hit half the frames of the refresh rate on most games in low 1080p

Configure this one with a 3060 IMO, $100 more is worth it. Better match for the screen too.

might as well get Acer Refurb for $100-$200 more with 2 year warranty with 3070 Ti and 1TB storage.

Has 1650/i5 11400h, 90 returns, can add 2/3 year warranty for $54/$79. Yes, it's used, it's also $250 less. that buys you more ram, and a better drive, has win11 also. DDR4 is the biggest difference, and wouldn't say its a drawback either. If your looking for something that can do that same thing but cheaper, I would spend $100, 1tb dram nvme and 32gb of decent ram, on the refurb. With refurbs you can get lucky and they send a new and better laptop back if you have an RMA.

So it is $570 after adding third party "warranty" and replacing RAM and SSD. It is funny you think people looking at this deal -- new laptop with decent specs at $700 -- would want to spend all that money on a refurbished gaming laptop with 2-gen old CPU, 3 gen old GPU and lower resolution screen, and worry about potentially battling with customer service for warranty.
