You come into clearly labeled Microcenter posts so you can complain about not having access to Microcenter? Ok, I'm curious...what's your goal with that?

This CPU is insane, too bad no shipping option. Please provide link to every component for your build including liquid cooling fan, case, power unit, GPU graphics card, epoxy glue, etc.
Only if you really use it to its potential. The 12900k combo was better deal for 99% of people. If you are a professional or a super enthusiast , yes be my guest

If you want to play games, you'll want a discrete gpu no matter what cpu you go with. There have been some ruomors of next gen cpus that have some fairly reasonable low end gpus in them, but even so, you'll be lucky to get 1080p out of it still.

This *would* be a pretty good deal, if they didn't require you to pick it up... there are no microcenters near me and they are really crappy about shipping which makes them absolutely worthless to me.

Information that would have been useful yesterday!!! Just went out and bought the 7900X deal. I don't think I'll go through the trouble since it's a 1 hour drive, but does anyone know if it were possible that I could return the 7900X and pay $200 more and exchange processors? It's probably not that hard to exchange everything, just curious theoretically. Also, whether it is worth it to upgrade? I am working on some ML stuff using a GPU.

Not them, and I don't do that, but I really want Micro Center to be reading these posts and build more stores. Unrealistic I know 😞.

Microcenter has always been super chill with returns and exchanges, even with open stuff. The vcache is very use specific, can be big boost in speed or worse than non vcache versions. At this price k13900 is usually better, biggest benefit is low power use at full load.
