You jut buy a cable off amazon for like $4 that plugs betwen the power supply and the power port that gives you a USB port. add a multi USB and you can use a real keyboard and mouse as well.
It took a couple days for my old Rokus to show the $15(?) 4k express plus ads last year. I'll leave the firestick in for a while.
The 2016 device also sits on table instead of attached to TV which fits my setup.

I think they have a stick version too
I dislike Roku OS and the fact they require your CC on file 24/7. I much prefer the base android experience
