This Jeep is extremely sturdy and well built. It took me about 4 hours to put it together. My kid has been using it for the last 3 years and he still loves it. I am 225 lbs and I have also driven this Jeep. Crazy!
The wheels are hard plastic and will skid in snow and mud though. It works just fine on roads and sidewalks.
My only worry is that my kid may bang into a parked car on the street. So an adult needs to be around. This doesn't have a remote so I'd say it is only for 3-4 years and older so they can control the Jeep. Other ride on toys like Lowes's Cobalt Jeep come with a remote but are less powerful. Also this has no light or horn, unlike Kobalt. Just fyi.

I think I got the same one for my kids, about 3 years ago too. I've been on it as well as my kids and friends up to 12 yo. Can sit 2 kids plus whoever can hang on in the back or front without problem lol.

Battery can hold quite a bit of charge and for a very long time too. U can mod it so u can use power tool batteries if u want (just google, or join some FB groups -plenty of ppl showing how). I planned to but never got to it, and turns out my kids don't really use it that much each time. I rarely need to charge it. Try not to overcharge the battery since I heard that could make the battery degrade much quicker,

My little one has Disney Frozen version of this jeep... Same build. The Jeep is sturdy and better built than some other ride ons. The best part is that you can upgrade this jeep to a Milwaukee battery setup and the Jeep will ride so much faster. Your little one will be able to do donuts in it. Totally worth the setup

Spot on. I was about to mention the power tool upgrade as wel but thought TMI.
Basically an 18v power tool battery instead of the original 12v one makes this Jeep go faster. I got all parts for the upgrade but never got down to it as I don't want to create a monster!
Would be cool if we could get rubber tires for it.

I did the power tool battery mod and screwed mountain bike tires onto the plastic wheels for traction, so it really moves on all terrain. I kept hearing that improving traction would be too much for the drivetrain, etc. but so far so good after several months.

Wow! Do you have pics or videos of what tires you used and how you went about screwing them on? I'd love to do that at some point! Smilie
