Been fighting this deal every time it pops up but finally bit.
With the cost of the speaker and tubes alone... just couldn't resist

Getting the amp for an extra $100 is a no brainer. Wish this sale would have been around at that time.

I've tested it with the MP 15W combo and it goes past creamy to fuzz. You have to turn one of the GAIN's stacked, down.
I would love to play with this amp and cab(I have the cab); but can not even justify it with my 15W combo. Breath. Self control.
It's not hugely portable and more watts are not needed. It's roomier, heaver cab can sound a bit better; but I can EQ the 15W combo around it.
Note: The cab has 8 ohms speaker so it's tougher to pair when compared to 16. The 2x12 isn't; but over kill, more weight and cost? Two speakers interact but so does an IR with many choices.
The MP 15W 1x12 combo is just 25lbs with amps, like the separate cabinet with speaker weight alone and it's smaller to pack. And $118 less than this set. Maybe a sale at ~$202 is coming again soon.
Pick your poison.
Plus the cab has an Input and an output jack on the back. Is that series connections, or parallel? I have not taken that panel apart yet.
WARNING: Don't ever forget to have a speaker reconnected for a matching load on your amp or you can blow it.
