For those wondering if this is native 4K, this isn't and uses pixel shifting to achieve 4K.

More specifically, this projector uses 4-way XPR pixel-shift technology. Thus, the sensor is 1080p sensor. As a neat consolation, this projector supports some awesome low latency 1080p modes.

Good luck!

Dolby Vision doesn't exist natively in projectors. Get a Vrroom.

Ultra Short Throw projectors are nearly always worse than regular long throw projectors at the same price point.

At 15ft the smallest screen size is 130": https://www.projectorcentral.com/...or-pro.htm

For a 105" screen the supported distances range between 9ft and 12ft.

Good luck!

Epson has better black levels and contrast. This will be sharper and have less blur in motion. Most consider the Epson the better of the 2. But for the price this is still really good.

And for those that are wondering. Pixel shifting is a fantastic technology. Your eye sees full 4k resolution and it will be exceptionally sharp especially with dlp. Native 4k chips are almost always in the $5k-10k price point. A few newer projectors under 2k use native 1440p .65in dlp chips. And the. They pixel shift those as well for 4k.

I bet they are jacking up the price right before amazon day to show big savings. I got the uhz45 and think its a good pj for the price. Lazer is quick to start, low heat output, no bulb, sharp picture, good contrast. On bad side, minimal lens shift (better put mount in correct spot), and no lens memory (to push black bars off screen in widescreen movies)...
