I called my local Walgreens pharmacy in ca about the vaccine offer. They don't know anything about it. Does the coupon given by the pharmacy or the store employees?
Pharmacy. Tell them to "check the coupon box." Because their machine prints out coupons all the time, many pharmacies just let coupon print into a container and toss them. At least that's what my local WAG does. They didn't have a clue about this promo last year, but they found it eventually.

Does this mean if we get 3 different vaccines in 1 visit, they give us 3 x the coupon? Or, do we need to schedule 3 different appointments?

I ended up making 1 appointment because the thought of going to WAG vac appointment more than once is unbearable. Their so-called appointment never works, and they always make us wait like 40 minutes even if we show up earlier. Not worth trying to get another coupon.

Just to be safe, I'd recommend in different visits. For instance, Covid on 10/4, Flu on 10/7, then you're guaranteed to get 2 separate coupons (vs. only 1 being printed out for 1 visit). Even though CDC says it's totally fine to do multiple at once, personally I don't like taking more than 1 injection in one day and would rather space them apart. If I get some kind of reaction, I'd be better able to pinpoint which one is the culprit; this becomes impossible if you take 2 or 3 jabs in one sitting.

I did this already when it was just $10, I did COVID booster and flu at same time, and two coupons printed out. I would NOT recommend you do it in separate appointments unless you really were against getting two vaccines at the same time. Walgreens is not a well run machine. I stood in line for 20 minutes only to have the person tell me I need to then go to another line. Then the paperwork, which I already did online but didn't show up in their system. Then waiting for the one person doing the shots who also seemed to be filling prescriptions. This has happened at multiple walgreens for family too. Unless you don't value your time, it's not worth the aggravation.

this going to be like last time where they make an offer then don't even give you what they say they will and are like "oops. we canceled that promo": after you enable the push notifications? I kept not wanting to bother calling and having to get a manager so just got screwed out of the $15 or $25, whatever it was.

They ring out each vaccination separately which means a new coupon is printed for each transaction.

You can do multiple vaccinations in the same visit and it should print a unique coupon for each.

Don't be shy, before they give you the vaccination the coupon should already have been printed, ask about it before they get started.

Again, before they physically administer the vaccination the transaction is already rung up and the receipt and coupon are printed.

One last point, if you have multiple coupons you need to do a one-dollar transaction for each coupon separately.

Just got my 2 vaccines and $40 rewards. Luckily I got it later in the day and the clerk was knowledgeable because of trial and error. When you go to the counter, bring something with you to purchase that costs over $1. And tell the clerk about the $20 deal. I showed her the email I got so she knew. I purchased a bottle of peroxide for $1.50 that I needed at home anyway. They'll scan the $1+ item and also scan the shots you're getting. This generated the paper coupons. The clerk immediately scanned one of the $20 coupons and confirmed it was added to my rewards on the receipt. DO NOT PURCHASE WITH POINTS! Just pay for the item or you will not get the reward. I later purchased a snack and used the other $20 coupon on the way out. The Limit 3 deal is for any shots: Flu, COVID, Tetanus, Pneumonia. That's how I got 2x$20. ALSO, the paper coupon needs to be redeemed within 14 days and can only be used in the store, so best to just get something on the way out and scan the paper coupon. Hope this helps and if you already got the shot but no coupon, be a total Karen and email Walgreens because this process was not straightforward!

I just read the fine print about the $20 rewards after getting vaccine and spending a $1. Sucks that AR, NJ, and NY are not valid.

Between Oct 4 - 7, you earn $20 walgreens cash coupon on getting a vaccine, use that coupon on $1+ transaction and $20 walgreens cash added to you rewards account.
Usually it's $5 coupon, this year it was bumped to $10, now between Oct 4-7 its $20

It's difficult to understand from what you posted but the $1 item is purchased after you get the vaccination and receive the coupon. You don't do them at the same time.

The coupon is "generated" automatically when the vaccination is rung out at the register, you don't need to buy anything else at the same time. Incidentally, the clerk should have rung out the vaccination and printed out the receipt plus the coupon prior to you receiving the vaccination.

Again if I misunderstood your post I'm sorry, there seems to be a lot of confusion about how to get the coupon.

Does that printed-put coupon also have to be used between 10/4 to 10/7? (That 3-day span is pretty limited)... Or does it give you like a week or two to use it?
I am getting flu shot right now.i just checked out for vaccine and the $20 reward when you spend $1 Catalina coupon printed out. The expiration date is in 14 days. So, my coupon expires 10/19.

I bought 3 x Walgreens store brand freezer bags with the coupon. They are buy 1 for $2.79 , get 2 free. Sixty freezer bags (quart size) for less than $3. I use these bags and they are pretty good.
