How did you get it for $75?
There was one seller yesterday selling it for $90 and buy 4 or more for 20% off which is $72 + shipping = $75.

But I actually just got one for ~$100. I was just joking this thing is too cheap.

I've had mine for a day and a half. I ran Fire Tool Kit, got rid of the lock screen ads, deleted some Amazon apps I didn't want and added Google. From Google I added my usual apps and have set the tablet up just like I want it. . The screen looks good, the sound is good and it's plenty fast enough.

I never had a problem with the speed of my Fire HD 10 Plus I've been using for the last year and it's Geekbench 6 score is 324 single core, 964 multicore. The Geekbench 6 score for this Fire Max 11 is 944 single core, 2281 multi core. So far It's been really good with no complaints and the finger print reader on the power button is great.

The only gripe I have had with Fire Tablets is the battery life when in standby mode. You can set an iPad down with 90% power and come back to it a week+ later and it will still be good to go. But you can't even do that overnight with any of the Fire Tablets we have had.

I haven't had that problem with the two Fire HD 10 tablets I've had, a 2017 and the 2021 Plus. I don't know how long they would last on standby but it's a long time.

No it's not.
But then again Samsung/apple tablets costs at least 6-7 times more.
Just standard Samsung tablet which run about the same price.

Ordered one, I hope this is better than my Samsung Tab S8
The Samsung Tab S8 is unquestionably superior to this device. I own both the Samsung Tab S8 and the Amazon Fire Tablet 10 (older version), and when it comes to speed, the Samsung Tab S8 is the clear winner.

That being said, if you're not into gaming, then the Amazon Fire Tablet 10 is perfectly fine. I personally use the Amazon Fire Tablet for entertainment purposes, and it serves me well in that regard. However, for gaming, especially games like Minecraft, I would definitely choose the Tab S8.

my fire hd 10 (latest model) has been on "stand by" for like 2 weeks and it's sitting at 60% (i think i did spend maybe 5-6 hours streaming on it within those 2 weeks tho) .. but that's with firetool box used on it.

Legitimately this is the kind of shit that I question how it's legal. Gift cards are that sort of shady though, the moment a business has your money in their system you have zero control over what happens.

I've only got $30 or so on Amazon at the moment, but have this $5 prepaid visa reward card expiring that for some reason doesn't work anywhere but Amazon. I'll probably still end up loading the $4.xx, because legitimately the card gets declined everywhere.

I'll end up buying some household goods or something from Amazon, just have to check prices closely or wait for one of their S&S discount things.
They may be trying to auth more than the purchase. That use to happen to me when I would get a stupid Visa gc. I found vending machines worked to use up the remaining.

F***ing Amazon. They changed giftcard policy, you can no longer use Amazon GC balance to buy third party gift cards.

This is a major thing for many netizens. It's very common to trade for Amazon GCs or receive Amazon GCs from various freebie sources like surveys/receipts etc. You'd just keep central Amazon GC balance that is then usable for various other things you actually want like Dog food from Chewy or Dominos pizza order.
Policy never changed. It just that they didn't strictly enforce it before and now they are.

Nah it changed without them actually changing ToS. Originally you couldn't buy giftcards, this was years ago. I don't know when they started allowing outside giftcards to be purchased with Amazon funds, but it's definitely been over a year. Now like you said they're just enforcing the ToS.

The reality of the situation is just a week ago I could buy Chewy giftcard with my Amazon funds, now I can't.

After owning 3 fire tablets I learned my lesson.. these are only worth it if you can get it for very cheap or if you are buying it for kids, Even though you can install google play on it, you will run into glitches and other compatibility issues, It's just not worth it when you can get much better tablets for a bit more money, I would go for either the Ipad, Samsung s6 lite 2022 or lenovo duet 3,
