I wanted to like it. I had bought the plastic Lavazza capsules a long time ago, and they were terrible. With some reluctance, when I saw these aluminum capsules posted in a variety pack I went in just to see if they had improved at all.

They're better than the plastic capsules, but still lag pretty far behind the rest of the competition on the third party Originaline lineup. They don't compare to Peet's, L'Or, Starbucks, etc.

I only do decaf Lavazza because like someone else pointed out they all taste like ash tray juice. Nobody drinks decaf for the taste
