My daughter has these and they're a step above generic Bluetooth earbuds but not nearly as nice as airpods. The case is the noticeable difference. But she's happy with them and I don't have concern over her losing $100+ earbuds.

These are pretty good, especially for the price. If you're an Android user looking for good build quality earbuds and with long battery life, I would pull the trigger

Does anyone know if you can use just 1 ear bud for phone calls?
Yes - mic and speaker are phenomenal. People say not as good as AirPods, which is true - but they're maybe 90% as good as my first gen AirPods. I love the fit and pairing response, no brainer at $35.

I've been using these since they came out. They are every bit as good and comfortable as Airpods. They have no ANC, but I also have some Soundcore earphones for when I want it. The Soundcores do sound better than these and my old Airpods.

These EchoBuds have a silicone cover, which you can remove if you want. I did, but my daughter says she likes it better with it. We both had Airpods that died within weeks of each other.

Are they comfortable? Do they stay in the ears well? I need a pair for listening to audiobooks and working out.

I just returned my second pair. My first pair stop fully working after 3 weeks. My second pair lost Bluetooth connection and would not go back into Bluetooth pairing mode. They were comfortable and while they worked I only disliked the case. They have tons of positive reviews so maybe it was just me. Best of luck.

Can anyone comment on this vs AirPod sound quality ?
I have both AirPod 1st generation and this echo bud, I would say in terms of bass, echo is clearly the winner while treble and mid is about the same for the two.

Evidently not: "Registration in the Alexa app is required using a smartphone with Android 8.0+ or iOS 14+ in order to use your Echo Buds and receive the latest software updates". At least one buyer confirmed this.
BT should be BT. I think it is balony that you have to install Alexa in order to listen to your music on BT or listen to your TV.

The Soundcore A20i cost $26 on Amazon. They probably sound better than these and have app support, meaning you can customize the sound, something the Echo Buds can't do.

I would not recommend these. They barely stay in the ear and keep falling out. Sound is decent, though.

Mine seem to have lost their balance 4 months in, right ear is noticeably faint compared to left. Thought I was losing my hearing but switched back to my old TaoTronics pair and found it was an issue with the Echo Buds only!

Do you have to have the Amazon app open to use with other music/video apps?

How does this work with apple's security features? (Not allowing apps to track other apps, etc…)

I don't think these are noise canceling, meaning they are just regular earbuds with Alexa support. Unclear if it is worth the moolah

Anyone know if there's any option for buying just one bud for cheaper? We had a set and one bud got lost and for the life of me couldn't find any option for just buying that one bud.
Just "loose" the second one and buy new set. Not sure, buying one will be much cheaper...
