When I was a kid this was the only kind of skateboard we could afford for me. It sucked, I was slow and unsteady compared to the other kids in the neighborhood. Was like skating through glue. Then a middle school buddy gave me his old board and it was night and day. Completely changed how fun riding was. Don't buy this garbage if you have a choice.
Mine arrived - indeed it's a 7.5" deck with 50mm wheels which is a perfect size for most kids ages about 5 to 9, it needs better bearings and bushings which are the least expensive parts of a complete setup - otherwise it's one heck of a great board, and comes with small risers installed.
The price on Amazon for one style is now just $9.50 with 1-2 months ship time. $13 for 2 other styles with normal shipping.
Why must I have size 13 feet? And be 210 lbs? And 45 years old?
Probably better to not join the Darwin Awards this year…
If you have kids and aren't planning any more then go wild! If you kill or maim yourself beyond the ability to reproduce, your genetic material is already out there so I think you are ineligible for the Darwin Awards. You can die without worry of having your name featured in an infamous tome. And you'll have had fun doing it!!!

Thanks for your feedback! Whenever these cheap boards come up my main concern is the weight and size to see if it's appropriate for my son. Replacing bearings and bushings is stupid easy and definitely worth the small additional investment.

The $9.50 style (Square) is already OOS, but the two $13 styles are still available.
Just want to add that this deck is indeed 7-ply - no idea if it's really maple - with a whole lot of flex. Some people like flex, others like a rigid board - if you're the latter then you'll hate this board and should try any board from DGK or the maple decks from Powell Peralta (not the birch decks) as those two brands make the stiffest decks I've rode, and I've rode a lot of floppy and stiff decks.

Just bought a pair of Heely's. You leave them on for for 60 seconds, you get free instant admission.
