I bought the 2tb one with heatsink. The heatsink doesn't even fit the drive. It can not clip together all the way unless I want to squash it so much I risk damaging the drive. Total garbage.

Some of the comments here crack me up. Acting like any single nvme drive isn't a silicon lottery is the most 2023 thing I've read today.

"DON'T GET IT, NEVER HEARD OF TEAMGROUP"

Lol they've been around longer than some of you have been born.

Least reliable of the specious Teamgroup brand. Would not recommend Cardea at all.

Did you check out the install video [youtube.com]?

Never heard of Teamgroup. Cheap, but I'd want to know whose memory they actually buy first...

To put your mind at ease, here's a review [tomshardware.com] on them to give you an idea of how it performs and the specifics are

It comes without the heat sink installed so you're good. Thumbup

Yeah I did watch that after seeing it doesn't fit. Still didn't change the fact it doesn't fit.

The regular A440 2tb fits the PS5 just fine with the aluminum heatsink installed and the plates on. If you're worried about it being crowded you can always use the graphene heatsink but I think it's made with the PS5 in mind. I've had mine running everyday since March without issue. Great speeds, works like a charm.

Team Group is pretty much a budget brand. I'm sure they use whatever flash they can get the cheapest. I get the impression they use lower binned NAND. Personally, I've seen Micron and SanDisk NAND in some of their SATA drives.

4TB MP34 is $160 if you want larger capacity cheaper and are happy with a decent performing PCIe 3.0 drive.

Yes, you can choose between a clamp-on heat sink, an adhesive heat spreader or naked. You get both in the box. Heat spreader is mostly for laptop installs.

You know you're supposed to slide the drive into the bottom part then connect the heatsink right? I've bought a similar model and had no issue installing.
