You're forgetting the rest of the specs - OLED display, a really fast 13-th gen CPU, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, lighter than a macbook pro of the same size.

It's not a gaming laptop, it's a thin/light lappy for creators and other power users on the go that can also game a little.

90Hz is about when I start to feel the difference from 60Hz, so that's something, but still feels like an odd choice.

I could see the soldered RAM being a dealbreaker for many, though. Tom's Hardware also felt like the battery life was a bit weak.
