It's a deal if you value the packout stuff. It's not a deal if you just want the bits.

The packout system is pretty pricy but it seems nice anyway

Ryobi's diamond grit bits have been proven to outperform these by a long shot. I would recommend getting those instead.

From what I can tell, the Packout is from Israel and the bits and pieces are from Taiwan, Vietnam, and China.

The $160 figure is probably arrived at by adding up the MSRP of each individual piece. But unless you're dumb enough to buy them all individually at full price, that total is meaningless and should be ignored.

Definitely not a deal... the pack out it comes with is 30 bucks and the bit set will be 10-20 bucks for the holiday... no way is the original price 160..
