It's a user error. I got 3 of these and one holds a printer that weighs over the suggested weigh limit. No issues. Another one holds a PS5. Another my PS4. No issues on those two. I even attached 3 fans below them to increase airflow. 😁 This was 4.99 bucks before though. Or 3 for 14.

Whether it matters to anyone or not, the one I received from the last time this was posted in August had plastic legs. The first one I purchased November of last year had metal legs.

and if for some reason it doesnt work for that specific use case there will be others.
No doubt. I'm sure that there are plenty of uses for a stand like this, many of them not even computer related.

I'm pretty sure it'll work fine for my use case though. My use case is pretty simple, I'm going to put my Mac Studio below the stand. It should fit fine, even at the lowest height setting for the stand. And I'm going to put a monitor on top of the stand. So, a fairly simple use case.

Those looking to rise their PC - I bought this a few months back and it wasn't wide enough to accommodate my Corsair 4000X Mid Tower PC. Decent little riser if it fits your needs. Tbf rising the PC was an afterthought but make sure to measure first cause I didn't lmao

My impressions from the last time this was posted (I bought it):

"For $7, not going to complain but as a monitor stand two points: 1) A keyboard will not fit under the legs (which is one of the things you'd want to do with the space saved by the riser) and 2) The orientation of the screw-in feet can't be adjusted, so the metal buttons aren't aligned and face all different directions... no functional problem, but will drive someone with OCD crazy.

The feet are light plastic not metal, but doesn't seem like it would affect strength (only durability... if you played with the legs too much, over time I imagine you could introduce play). It still is sufficiently versatile that I'll find some use for it, but probably not as a monitor stand."

The previous posting was only a month ago so I haven't found a use for it yet, but it's in the guest bedroom as a prospective monitor / TV stand maybe.

The previous thread is here: https://slickdeals.net/f/16888964-huanuo-adjustable-metal-monitor-stand-riser-6-39-free-shipping?v=1

On the second page you'll get the impressions of people who received it... generally, it seems like negative reception.

I forgot about that. Someone mentioned that last time this was on sale. Bit of a bummer, but still seems a good deal for $6.

Thanks for pointing to that. Also recent reviews on Amazon tell the same story: product degradation.

They are dumping these. The quality is not there anymore. The plastic legs suck. Bad product: downvote.

Appears it's one promo per account. Needed two but no go on second discount
Share your Amazon Prime account with a "family member" and then order a second one with that account. It worked for me.

Same here. I have one holding a three-stage rocket, I have two connected together to cage a pair of albino tiger cubs, and I have another that's used only to wrangle my inflated ego and sense of self-worth, and all are holding up perfectly, with only the slightest hint of rust and the smell of brimstone.

I guess the all metal ones' are the $25 dollar ones. I'm in on this for 6 bucks. Plastic legs and all.

I disagree, I purchased the exact same stand and it held up without any issue for the last 2+ years. Basically, this is just a stand, screws don't come off by themselves.

Agreed. I use the heck out of these to support a dozen or so consoles on a closet shelf. These are stacked and have no issue, fit the fat Xbox Ones no problem as well (i.e. they are wider and taller than the Xbox, so can be stacked).

I would've ordered this had they maintained the same quality as before (thicker metal plate and metal legs). Instead, I ordered this:

It is a good price, but the max height is too low.
I need 8-9 inch height for my setup.
