Why freeze then unfreeze your credit reports?
Froze your credit scores? First I've ever heard of it. Does this help? How, pleeeeease? Lol I'm trying to fix my credit & score.
You normally want all your scores frozen because it makes identity theft a ton harder (people can't open accounts in your name if your reports are all frozen).
It's trivially easy anymore to unfreeze them temporarily for you to open something when needed and then leave them frozen the other 99% of the time.

Gonna have to look into this. Used to be that LifeLock would freeze your file for free, but you then had to pay to unfreeze. Has that changed?
never used it- each of the 3 bureaus let you freeze/unfreeze for free on their respective websites- including setting temp unfreezes.

Granted, WF is a second tier bank, so what? "Even" third tier banks and small credit unions are known to have good products.
