unfroze all 3 credit reports and jumped on applying this card, got approved instantly with 20K credit limit. Then froze all 3 reports again. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
dang, they automatically replace my propel card with this. wish I got such an offer
application denied for the card, last card that I got from them was in 2021

Denied with reason "Not enough history history with your most recently opened Wells Fargo card". I have a 825 score with over 13 years of history and they give this as a reason .. specially coming from the notorious WF..
Activated my new card last week, and now I remember why I cancelled my old card, as I'm met with this message at least once a week: "Online Banking is temporarily unavailable".
You normally want all your scores frozen because it makes identity theft a ton harder (people can't open accounts in your name if your reports are all frozen).
It's trivially easy anymore to unfreeze them temporarily for you to open something when needed and then leave them frozen the other 99% of the time.
Thank you for actually answering the question and not just downvoting like a few others did

Do you still get 3 points per $1 spent on insurance and utility bills? I didn't see anything about it in their terms.
I have this card but have yet to try it on insurance or utility bills.
I use the Venmo Credit Card for Utilities as it gives 3% for your highest category (. It's super easy to rack up cash back with the going rates for utilities.
Card language is, "Bills and utilities: Phone and internet service providers, streaming services, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, electricity, gas, water, trash disposal and other utilities."

I use City Bank Signature Visa (a regional bank from WV) that gives me 5% cash-back on utilities (and fast-food restaurants.) I use US Bank Visa for 3% cash-back on insurance payments. Yes, I also love getting cash-back from bills I have to pay anyways (but it's only a positive when you pay off your credit card balances every month, which I do.)
Approved. 20.24% APR after a year. Credit score is 836. I already have a card with them. Will use especially for cell phone protection as my deductible with the chase card is $50.

I haven't tried this one but they recently denied me on their 2% cash back card and I have 35 years of flawless credit (825 score), no debt, $100k+ income. I think they want people that will carry a balance and pay their exorbitant interest which I will never do. I have no love for WF so please do apply and milk them for their $300 and then be sure to do at least $600 worth of damage to your cell phone
