Dammit, just bought the GPS only for about the same with Costco. Ordered this and gonna return that. I don't need the cellular but should net a little more when time to resell.

It's typically about even money to about 10 dollars more for cellular when buying used. If you scored one at target already, you will never recoup the near 100 dollar difference in price.

Great deal. By doubling the storage and giving the series 9 a faster chip, Apple successfully stopped me from jumping on this sale.

The battery in my series 6 is starting to decline, but it still works great. Hoping I'll make it to the series 10.

My battery health on series 6 is already at 80%. But I am also going to try and stretch to series 10, if not, hoping I will get similar deal on series 9 in a year.

Yes. It will work via your phone without service, but otherwise you'll need a cell plan with your carrier.

Have you checked out Apple's refurbished store? They have the 45mm series 8 for $319 and it has same warranty as a new product (you can also purchase Apple Care+ if needed)? Also, if you have military or government discount it is even cheaper at $287.

As MatthewD5315 stated, on the used market, cellular option doesn't really offer much of a price difference on watches.
