I was with Mint Mobile until this September and I transferred my number from Mint to Visible. From the day the number transfer was completed, I am getting more than 10 calls per day from random numbers all over the U.S. I don't know if it's because visible link the "temp" number to my number or somehow my number is shared to 3rd party marketing companies or something. I pretty much blocked every numbers that I don't know of. The random calls started to drop to about 3-4 calls per day. The calls starts after 9am EDT and ends by 6pm EDT.

I have done inter-verizon transfers to US Mobile 4 different times and never had an issue.
Thank you for mentioning that; repped. The next time I try a USM port from Visible (after this 6 month deal) I'll give a direct port to their Verizon side a try.

I despised visible the last time I had them. That's until I tried their new visible+ service. It made a world of difference here in texas and I'm now enjoying reliable and fast service. At 35 a month for 50 gigs, I can't recommend them enough. The service is fantastic.
Yep, it's amazing what data prioritization does for mobile internet. I had AT&T Prepaid for a couple years, and it was just terribly slow. Turns out, it's deprioritized compared to their postpaid and business plans. So I switched to Google Fi, which uses T-Mobile's network but is not deprioritized. So much faster and more reliable.

Seems that way if 30gigs/month if enough for you.

With the USMobile sign up bonus (50 days free and $100 GC) followed by $25/month permanently VS this deal 35/month for 6 months then up to 45

Your first year with Visible+ will be ~480 -- after that, 540/year
Your first year with USMobile will be ~160 -- after that, 300/year

I've never really had an issue with the regular Visible plan and I live in a heavily populated city right outside a major US city. The problems I've noticed comes when I go to major events with lots of people or when I go into the city.
Yep.

Been to concerts and sporting events, with cell reception, but no data whatsoever. It's super annoying, but I am also paying $25/mo for the basic plan, so take the good with the bad I guess.

Have had Visible for 6 years now. Best cell phone service, I use about 150-300GB of data monthly. Lived in CA and now back in NJ works fine everywhere. I've tried every brand through contract and prepaid and Visible is the most stable and cheapest. I've only ever had the base plan and have always had seamless Spotify streaming since the beginning. They even sent me a new Pixel free when they announced Pixel compatiblity and my Pixel 1 wasn't working. I was on the old network til they gave me the OG user discount to hop on the new network. I'm patiently waiting for the next forever discount for Visibile+ otherwise I don't need it for my uses. Since Visible uses LTE.. SOME unlocked china phones will work with it if it has the same bands such as a Xiaomi, Blackview, etc. Be sure to research this on the Visible reddit before commiting to a phone with no returns. Pixel 1 OG still works on Visible, I'm on a Oneplus 10 PRO atm, works flawless.

How do china phones work with Visible if they don't allow it on their database?

Switched to US Mobile from Visible, before Visible offered their prioritized data plans. Visible on the $25 plan without prioritized data is miserable. Thus, you can only compare Visible+ to US Mobile. Since US Mobile offers prioritized data on all their plans, they have more price flexibility. I can get away with the $25 US Mobile plan (30 gig) so that saves over Visible+. If you need more data, the pricing is a lot closer between the two.

Holy cow that's a lot of data. I get worried they're gona do something to my service when I go above 20GB, maybe I should stop worrying lol. I assume they've never punished you for using to much data?

Seems like we abandoned ship at just the right time with Visible. Extra $20 a month on MagentaMax senior citizen plan for unlimited data, subsidized phones, and Netflix Apple Paramount.

But with Tmo no longer trying to appease the government, or not scare off all sprint customers day one, things could go downhill enough that i'd be back on Visible in a year or two. If you dont have to be in a "family" group with a bunch of redditors to get the good price anymore, thats a plus.

If you take a provisioned sim card like from a phone that has Visible working on it already or request a sim card put it in a compatible phone then swap the sim to the unlocked phone, add the apns if they don't automatically add and cross your fingers. People have activated Xiaomi Redmi 9 on Visible using this method along with some US specific Samsung phones deemed not compatible by Visible with the newer network by using the imei checker online, yet they put the already provisioned sim card in and input the apns and worked. It's really a coin flip but as long as the phone has most of the bands it could possibly work. I normally don't experiment unless the specific model I like has been confirmed working or if the phone can be returned free. My Pixel 1XL is said not to be compatible on the newer network yet mine works fine on it as it did on the old network. Phone needs to be unlocked and have the bands for anything to be possible.

lol then you've earned it! Splurge on your data because they have never punished me, contacted me, throttled or anything! I use it for work mostly but at one place I rented the landlord never paid the internet on time I used my Pixel 1 XL as a hotspot to my tv, thats when I was averaging 250gb a month.

I had my visible phone tethered to my wifi router and was using 700+GB a month.
