Final trade-in value includes promotional credit of $100. So it's not trade-in value + $100.

1. You need a plan and the cheapest one is 15 + tax
2. You need to keep the plan active for at least 67 days
3. After 67 days, you need to call/chat to request unlock
4. Your total initially when placing the order is 399 + tax
5. After you send in your trade and they receive it, it will take around 2-3 weeks to receive the trade in credit. Depending the agent who processes your trade in but I believe most of the time, it will post to your account and you need to call in to request them crediting back to your CC.

Hope that helps

You will pay 399+ tax when placing the order. After they process your trade in, you will get whatever the amount (218 in your case) crediting to your account. The 36 months contract is only for payment plan. You can cancel your plan anytime after the trade is processed and your phone is unlock if you pay in full.

Does Spectrum have these devices in store to take a look at in person before you place your preorder?

Preorder means before it is in store

From the spectrum website, the $399 price seems like it requires a trade-in "Trade in required"

So depending on the phone you trade in, it will be $399 minus any additional value your trade-in gives you (for my Samsung A32 it was $24 in addition to the $100)

Thanks.... I just heard some rumblings and youtube videos of people saying they were reviewing store display models and thought maybe Google had sent some out for display purposes. Thank you for your answer! Much appreciated.

Anything special I have to do to get the second free line? It seems I can't add the 8Pro preorder and a second BYOD line to the cart at the same time.

Best Buy should have them on display (Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro).

Can you do the $14/GB/mo and order two phones? It says you can share data with up to 10 lines.

Anyone know if once you unlock a spectrum phone, you can use it on T-Mobile?
I have the free Spectrum Mobile line and I've purchased 5 phones when they were on sale and unlocked all of them. You can simply pop in your sim with any carrier since the phone will be unlocked after 60 days (this can be challenged when you call them and asking for unlock before 67 days since all you need is your line to be active for this period, not the phone itself per their unlock policy " Your Spectrum Mobile account must be active for 67 days and in good standing, with no outstanding payments.").
Only thing that bugs me the most is every time restart any Spectrum Phones, there is the Spectrum logo that pops up. nod.
I don't know how Spectrum mobile makes money off of selling many phones at so low.

I skipped the trade-in bonus as it seemed to be complicating my situation. I still needed access to my T-mobile plan during the 67 day waiting period to unlock the phone. Instead, I'll unlock on day 68, activate the new phone with T-Mobile (SIM swap should be doable?), cancel the $14/mo plan, and then sell my old phone (pixel 7) on ebay which should net me more than the ~$230 that Spectrum was offering for tradein. For those wondering, you can pre-order the 256GB version for $60 more, this deal is not just for 128GB version.

Device Payment $1059.99
Pre-Order Today- $600.00
By The Gig $14.00
One-Time Activation Charge $10.00
State And Local Sales Tax $40.82
Total Shipped $524.81

+ 2 addtl months of service ~$30
- Sell Phone ~$250
=$304.81 ballpark.

Any holes in my thinking?
