Final trade-in value includes promotional credit of $100. So it's not trade-in value + $100.

1. You need a plan and the cheapest one is 15 + tax
2. You need to keep the plan active for at least 67 days
3. After 67 days, you need to call/chat to request unlock
4. Your total initially when placing the order is 399 + tax
5. After you send in your trade and they receive it, it will take around 2-3 weeks to receive the trade in credit. Depending the agent who processes your trade in but I believe most of the time, it will post to your account and you need to call in to request them crediting back to your CC.

You will pay 399+ tax when placing the order. After they process your trade in, you will get whatever the amount (218 in your case) crediting to your account. The 36 months contract is only for payment plan. You can cancel your plan anytime after the trade is processed and your phone is unlock if you pay in full.

Spectrum responded to my FCC complaint regarding discrepency between what is stated on their website/Spectrum Mobile Residential Services Agreement, and the actual unlock policy they are enforcing. Looks like the computer tool Spectrum mobile rep uses is now enforcing 60 days from device activation, in contrary to their official unlock policy and the agreement I docusigned. The Spectrum FCC esculation specialist is now kicking the ticket to the upper echelon of the mobile department for "resolution". Will update what happens next.

all spectrum devices unlock after 60 days and it's very quick, just a chat with the rep should work.
I traded my 13pro 128g for pixel 8 pro, Let see how it will be, but excited thought.

yes 60 days is nothing. metro is 6 months, boost is 1 year. we are paying $200+ for a $1000 phone. so I dont mind to wait 60 days. my Fold 5/ Flip 5s are just got unlocked.
