Best Buy's page if you want to activate an unlocked device as part of the order says "We're currently only able to activate service on this unlocked device with Verizon, Google Fi Wireless and AT&T."

But that doesn't mean the phone isn't compatible with T-Mobile, it probably means they don't stock T-Mobile SIMs and service. Do you have a source that says this unlocked phone from Best Buy will not take a T-Mobile SIM?

Also, trade-in note at checkout if you're selecting store pickup is "Bring your trade-in device to the store when you pick up your new item."

So, financed phones (AT&T) are eligible to trade in right? Definitely not cancelling my line that the phone is being financed on but want to get the Pixel 8 Pro.

If you really believe it can be done with 2 trades and want to risk it. You can go to your local metro pcs store today, call ahead and see if they have any pixel 6a. Sign up for their plan and new number you get it for $50+40 plan so $90+ tax. It's an instant rebate so you can cancel before the second month. No contract.
That is your Hail Mary at trying 2 phones today lol SE walmart $150 metro 6a $90 get $460 SE and $300 6a.
Excellent idea, I will try it today.

If I can get both a value + discount on iPhone SE and Pixel 6a, I would like to step it up to the 256gb Pixel 8 if they have them available. We shall see!

Metro will charge you a bunch of activation fees, SIM fees, insurance and tax on the full price of the phone. It will be significantly more expensive than the $90 for the Pixel 6a.

Yes that should work...I got deal finally at 3rd BB but experience of rejection at 2 other BB helped me drive the deal at 3rd...and I put up all notes in my detailed post..with proof unlike many who did not send receipts....it is no risk its working ...just do it if u really can it will be cheapest. If u r trying with just 1 phone anyways u pay 250 put of pockt...so why not buy 100 phone and get 200 off so out of pocket reduce by 100 atleast
Does this work if I already pre-ordered with one trade-in? During pickup, will they be able to add another trade-in?

No, you can't add on a second trade in after the pre-order is complete cause they process the pre-orders immediately if you do it in store (meaning you sign and pay right then and there). Unless you want to go in, ask them for your old phone back, cancel your original trade in, then reprocess this trade in again. Although I can't imagine they would take the same trade in device twice either since they log the imei.

Heck yeah I'm glad you know how to do it! Not sure why people down voted me. I tried to make it more simple to understand. I think a few people have been posting things but nobody really explains that you can just go to Walmart and buy this phone that gives you $300 bucks off any of the pixel phones makes the Pixel 8 $399 and comes with Buds Pro or Pixel 8 Pro $699 plus you get a freaking watch! Pay $149+ tax and get $460!
I'm truly phone/ computer illiterate lol. Can you please explain more? I feel stupid asking, but would like to know exactly what you meanSmilie thank you

Yeah 256gb Pixel 8 would be free with both trades if you get both coupons! Let me know if it works out. I called my local metro and the dude said the coupon only shows up for the $60 plan. Even though it says $40 on the website. Just remember metro dudes are some of the scummiest dudes in the city lol. They will try everything to screw you. Ordering online is a million times better but it won't get here in time. Good luck 🤞

Yeah they are scumbags in the store. My local one says you have to have the $60 plan for the coupon to show and refuses to acknowledge the website says $40 plan in store lol.

For store order, I suppose we have to trade-in the device when placing the order? If yes, do we have how long this promotional trade-in offer is valid for? I purchased the iPhone SE from Walmart but need my current P7P until the new order is ready for pick up Frown

There are big problems with the Google Pixel 8 Pro. With disappointing camera performance, missing features and frustrating quirks, Google's new flagship feels half-baked at best and it's certainly not ready to hit shelves on Oct. 12.

CNET editors have spent the past few days testing multiple models of the 8 Pro in the UK and US, and we've been taken aback by what we've found. The biggest issues are with the camera, which in some high-contrast situations produced bizarre artifacts that ruin the image.

The issues we've found on multiple models of the Pixel 8 Pro suggest that there are software issues with the phone that aren't simply restricted to one dud unit. And while we expect Google to quickly roll out fixes to address these, the fact remains that right now, Google wants $1,000 for a phone that has major problems.

I was thinking about going from pixel 7 to pixel 8 pro but think I'm going to hold off for now. CNET review is pretty meh.

Right. Their hardware dept screws up every other launch. Pixel 6 was disaster with fingerprint so prolly I'm gonna hold for bf. It's not P8p never gonna come down

MKBHD gave Pixel 8/Pro pretty rave reviews. Said the higher cost was justified. CNET might be nitpicking, not sure.

Fortunately though, software issues can be fixed quickly with an update.
