Best Buy's page if you want to activate an unlocked device as part of the order says "We're currently only able to activate service on this unlocked device with Verizon, Google Fi Wireless and AT&T."

But that doesn't mean the phone isn't compatible with T-Mobile, it probably means they don't stock T-Mobile SIMs and service. Do you have a source that says this unlocked phone from Best Buy will not take a T-Mobile SIM?

Also, trade-in note at checkout if you're selecting store pickup is "Bring your trade-in device to the store when you pick up your new item."

Here is detailed steps for 2 phone at promo trade- Its Possible as provided by BB employee. Thanks to him for sharing entire process step by step.

1. Get 2 phone for trade in ( has to be different - i.e one iPhone and other Android) reason being both trade in generates different sku based on different phone and that is key. If u trade same platform phone twice sku are same and it will not work as only one coupon of same sku works.

2. First get both trade ins done ( 2 times you need to sign) make sure each trade in gives you bb gift card and single use coupon -total of coupon and gift card should ne equal to trade in value u see online.

3. When entering tradein if they say u will get just 200 or 300 ask them to apply promo code google that's the trick

4. Only select unlocked phone colour black ( e.g for blue their is restriction that u need verizon and if u take verizon thank watch promo not apply)

5. Make sure to get watch added in same order ( as unlike online watch doesn't get added automatically?- dont be fooled by bb employee tell
specifically to add watch)

6. Watch color only black make sure also its wifi else it will mess up entire order.

7. After seeing all good then only pay for remaining.

8. Coupon values - of both phones reduces price before tax so effectively u pay tax on net amount apart from gift cards.

In my example I traded p7 and ip11 and got 200 × 2 gift cards and 250 coupon for p7 and 300 coupons for ip11..so net transaction 999- 250-300 = 449+ tax on 449 is net amount - 200-200 gift card = so 49+tax on 449 is the payment amount.

Watch should show 349- 349 = 0.

Attached are snips of receipts which are important to check

FYI - BBs have already received all stock items in store but they will only sell and provide pickup after 12.

Please try tomorrow and day after as it will be last days of preorder.

Make most of deal - any questions welcome...
Thanks for the detailed steps. I was able to done two trade ins (IPhone SE and pixel 6a) at my local Best Buy. The associate didn't believe me that I could trade in 2 phone for one order at first, but he was nice enough to give it a try and it worked.

What if the trade-in is rejected or revised after the purchase? Can the phone then be returned?

that's why you want to do the trade-in at the store. Transaction is done once they took the device from you.

I was about to place an order. However, I notice on their website that BestBuy's version is compatible with AT&T, Verizon, Google Fi.

Anyone has any knowledge about the bands of BestBuy's Google phones? Are they compatible with other carriers such as Tmobile?

Just tried and shot down by Best buy. The sales person just told me that only one device allowed per trade in. He even called the manager and they said the policy is one device allowed only. He said corporate has communicated this to them and the stores need to match the online trade in policy. I just came back empty handed, as I couldn't justify paying $500 after trade in for the phone.

During online checkout I could only select one phone to trade in, in store.

Is the process : pre order online for store pick up with iPhone se 3, then go in person and say I would like too trade in an additional phone, and can you apply the Google promo code to the second trade in as well?

Why can't I trade my iPhone 11/12/13? Who even still buys the SE lol
The purpose of this post is not really meant for people that have other phones to trade. Go ahead and look at BestBuy website for trade prices for different phones. The point is you can get $300 off the Pixel 8 or 8 Pro by buying a SE 3rd gen from Walmart for $150+tax and trade in for $460. Hence the $300 off.

Other people found that you can do 2 trades 1 iPhone and 1 android phone and get 2 elevated promotions from BestBuy for 1 phone purchase if done in store.

Either way it's a good price. Especially the 8 Pro IMO cause you get the watch 2 with the pre-order.

Very YMMV haha. I didn't even bother.
But if you bought a Pixel 4 from eBay for $90 the moment this deal went live last week and had it ready to go trade in store by today it would have been a super slick deal. The reality is, the iPhone SE is extremely easy to buy you just go to Walmart pick it up 150 bucks out the door. You can check on the app to see which stores have it in stock. Easy. But there is no Pixel or Samsung phone with elevated pricing that I have found on BestBuy that is relatively easy to just purchase for cheap if you don't already have the phone locally like the SE. So the SE is very easy to net you $300 extra. The bonus android phone is more difficult. I sold my Pixel 7 locally for $360 so $90 less than the elevated amount I would get. But I didn't have to drive around the valley and talk to BestBuy employees so to me it was worth it.

For some weird reason they don't list the iphone SE 3rd Gen in Starlight color in their possible trade in devices. Weird. Would it be an issue if I choose the black color since that's the only one available for Visible?

No they cannot modify an online order. You must preorder in person if you want to stack promotions
