Massively agree. We got the non-AI version in 2020, from BBuy. 6 Geek Squad visit, 3 door-lock mechanisms, 1 door replacement, 1 motherboard replacement, and they finally just lemon'd it and gave us a credit for a new one.
Our gas dryer, same series, has had the moisture sensors replaced, and more recently the motherboard replaced, and still can't dry for s#!t. We have Geek Squad coming back out hoping that they lemon it too.
After a bum fridge, washer and dryer I will never buy a Samsung appliance ever again. Have had to have each repaired multiple times. The models I bought had good reviews at the time I bought them but they quickly broke down and Samsung's customer service is pathetic.
Washer is OOS for me. I'd buy this set in a heartbeat if I were in the market and could get them at this price. I had to replace the rubber gasket on the front of our washer after about 5 years, but I've had a Samsung set for about 8 years that has otherwise been problem-free, and we do at least 4 or 5 loads of laundry a week.
Breaking my months of lurking silence to save people lots of money and aggravation due to this SD paid ad.
Samsung makes the most unreliable appliances on the planet. Run away.
That USED to be true. Since those horrible recalls, failures, and parts issues, Samsung has tried hard to resurrect its name in the appliance industry. If I'm not mistaken, they ranked #2 behind LG last year.

Our 3 year old LG top of the line front loader washer sounds like it gonna take off…it's so loud … so it's just a matter of getting a good appliance period. Dosnt matter if Sammy or LG. I have a several other brands as well. Nothing really entry level and all works out. Usually what makes us change out appliances is super deals found on slickdeals. Haha. I have a 3k fridge I'm my utility room do to a Lowe's Price mistake. It's great for a soda and beer fridge. Haha

Wrong about this part (asked OP and he said he just saw it while searching for deals and thought about sharing it). Thanks for the input on the rest - will be passing on it. Any brands you recommend otherwise? Trying to stay around this price and many on Reddit recommend "Speed Queen" but the price is ~$1000 each.

Repair guy even told us that they *hate* Samsung appliances. We got this one and absolutely love it.
