And someone said his cost is $10 a night to charge Tesla from 80% to full each night and gas has to be at $9 a gallon to spend that much on his ice car..You might not pay for gas but you pay for electricity

It does feel like the days when stis and evo8/9s were all the rage (interior on the tesla is 10x better thou). Cheap cars with huge horsepower.
I kind of felt bad for her - I don't get such a big rewards check from Costco because I am trying to maximize each credit card. So while any of my cards don't generate as much as her amount, combined my cards probably generate lot more than her for a lower spend.
So going back to 100k+ balance in an account - almost feels that the person is not maximizing their resources. I have less than $2K in my checking account, less than $200 in my Ally account - and that is because all my money is elsewhere making me more money. So yeah - I probably would feel a bit sad when I see that account balance but sad about the fact that the person is "probably" not maximizing their returns.
Going back to Costco - people happily cash their checks on merchandise. Please don't. Just buy some bananas and get the rest in cash. Then buy the rest of the goods using a 3-4% return credit card. So even if you had a $200 rewards check, 4% of that is $8 - pays for a cheapie lunch - for just being a bit slick at the cash counter.
Ah, but if that person already has millions invested and spends a lot, $100K in a bank account is more reasonable than it may seem.
IMO, Trader Joe's > Costco/BJs, without paying an annual fee. Not bashing either though, to be clear.
You didn't really answer the question... if the amount on the receipt vastly exceeds your entire net worth, would you feel bad? The point is you shouldn't.
If that's the worst that can be said, it really shows everyone how incredible Teslas are.
This year alone, 101 to 299, nearly triple!
