current model y is noisy as hell also
Pretty unfair to anyone living in a HCOL area like SF/NYC/Seattle/DC where that income is pretty much required to live in any comfort for a family.

So I agree someones oblivious but it's clearly yourself.
I do not think it means what you think it means.
do you... think normal consumers buy semi trucks to just drive around town or something?
It's already been driven over 1000 miles in a single day-- debunking your nonsensical claim it's limited to 300-500.... and it's recharging in under 1 hour, not the nonsensical 22 hours you claimed.
And costs are, and again I provided a recent source, over 80% lower than operating a diesel semi.
As to battleships, well, I know you prefer your info decades out of date, so perhaps you're unaware the Navy retired their last one in 1992

Charging needs for electric semi-trailer trucks
So first- your link does not work. Here's one that actually does-
https://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy23osti/86549.pdf
Second, did you actually read it? I ask because it clearly states
truck applications
It goes on to state average shifts for all operating segments of the industry can be handled by electric trucks without even needing en-route charging, just off-shift charging.
Then it cites the off-shift charge speeds needed... and they're no faster than the normal superchargers Tesla has already been deploying for years and years. In fact they're slower (the max they list is 140kw, Teslas V3s are 250kw, and V4s are rolling out now).
En-route charging would only be needed for the longest, way above average shifts.
For that they suggest the fast charger would need to be able to support a total range of 900 miles in a day.
And you've already been shown Teslas existing mega chargers support the existing truck doing over 1000 miles a day
So...I guess thanks for posting an almost-working link to yet another source directly debunking every bit of your own FUD?
(though why you're even discussing the semi in a thread about the Model Y is.... yet another mystery of life I guess....)

2. 99% of the Tesla super charging stations are not at Walmart parking lots.
3. If you're in $300,000, you should not be getting a tax credit. You and everyone else thinks it's a rebate. It's a tax credit!!!!?
4. Now you are asking for too much. Swappable batteries? It ain't a flashlight.
Enjoy your 2023 Tahoe!!

These tax rules always seem to target middle class wage earners instead of wealthy business owners who can deduct everything personal under the sun.
