Yes, you read that right: You should not be surprised to get 500,000 miles from the original set of Tesla brake pads based on real-world evidence that has accumulated over the years. You ask for "proof" of an estimate, which I find amusing. I have the benefit of personal experience driving a vehicle with a highly refined regenerative braking system. Extrapolate over 200,000 miles driven with only minimal (20% to 25%) wear to the original brake pads, and it's not difficult to project a longevity estimate, in much the same way that tire longevity can be estimated with reasonable accuracy if you choose to take the tread depth measurements from time to time. There are plenty of corroborating anecdotal reports with similar or even much higher brake pad longevity estimates. You can choose not to believe them or you can collect your own data, which is exactly what I did.
OK, so your 500,000 miles on original brake pads statement is your own personal extrapolated projected estimate.

In other words, your best guess.

Got it.

I need a 500 mile range so when the battery life goes down, I will get atleast 300 miles after a few years

Pretty sure you don't get it, and even more likely that you choose not to get it.

You seem to have missed the original point, and I am happy to repeat it. The point is that the brake pads on EVs will FAR outlast those on a non-EV due to the use of regenerative braking that does not involve friction (wear) between the brake pads and brake rotors. I'd conservatively estimate that I have at least a 90% reduction in my use of conventional braking (using the brake pedal) on my Tesla compared to my other vehicles.

Don't get hung up on an estimate of brake pad longevity if you find the notion of extrapolating real-world data to be so wildly unreliable.

You already receive tons of government assistance in the form of governance, law enforcement, medical subsidies, utility subsidies, environmental protections, consumer protections…

The high cost of a Tesla doesn't stop at its price tag. Insurance for a Tesla tends to be significantly more expensive than that of other popular vehicles, despite its high safety ratings.
Still, rates can vary drastically, even among different Tesla models. Below are the median annual insurance rates by Tesla model, ranked from cheapest to most expensive:
Model 3 ($2,574).
Model Y ($2,905).
Model S ($3,785).
Model X ($3,861).
These rates are for full coverage insurance for good drivers with good credit. We used the median rate (rather than the mean average) to provide a clearer picture of the full range of insurance rates across the country. The median is the midpoint between the highest and lowest insurance premiums.

I purchased a Mazda SUV. Really wanted a Tesla but the range is just too low right now. I will get an EV when there is 450-500 miles. Because I do travel a lot for leisure. I hope soon there is a car under 50k that gives 450 or at least 400 miles
If you want to know what to do when traveling with a Tesla, Kyle is an expert. He's done a couple NYC to LA Cannonballs in evs. About 41 hours.

You don't use the entire battery except leaving from home.
The battery charges much faster up to 60-80% when starting from 5%.
As the battery gets filled the level of power it can accept is reduced and the time to charge the last percentage increases.
You drive fast down close to 2-3% and charge often to get to your destination quickly.
15-20 minutes charging.
Teslas give you 10 miles or so as a buffer after you hit zero.
The navigation locates all chargers.

Your is the exception not the norm though.

Again, two different sets of fleet sourced data show at 200,000 miles owners average 88% of original range for example- and that's with the earliest, oldest, battery and cooling tech that's been improved multiple times since.

(To be fair the self-presenting door handles on the early S had a LOT of issues-- as did the eMMC.... but they don't use that type of either on the 3 or Y at all, and even the S one has been revised multiple times since then on both items)
Reality indicates that I'm not an exception.
Please explain to me, how my Tesla model S P85 2013 is the exception, when I have had several warranty repairs based on class action lawsuits.

Please explain the failure rate of the door handles on all revisions of the model S

Care to explain the issues with them using non automotive rated glue for the touch screen and the display?

The fact that 3 computers died, 2 motor replacements and one high voltage battery?

And here I have a Chevy bolt, with absolutely zero problems outside of the battery recall.
Zero problems with my Prius plug in and zero problems on the leaf I owned.

Elon isn't paying you dude- The early Teslas are trash and should not be considered unless you get a post 2017 with 100,000 mile warranty extension.

Have to TD on principle. Their price shenanigans have made my loan higher than what the car is worth new now 😄
Only a fool borrows money for a car. If you have a loan you can't afford it. Period. At 40 I have no car loans, no student loans, and cash on hand to finish paying off my mortgage that I could do tomorrow if I wasn't making 5% interest with a 2.15% mortgage.

I wonder if I should trade in my model 3 for model y. I hate all the interior noise from model 3.
Model Y has its own issues with cabin noise. Lot of complaints about booming noise, vibrating side mirrors, squeaky seats! If your reason for trade-in is cabin noise, buy a premium car like ES350 or S class
