The display does not support free sync or gsync despite what various Lenovo sources say. No vrr.
Upgrade to 32 GB soldered Ram for 50
I know y'all are (mostly) joking about a future discount to $600. This is, as far as I know, a new model for Lenovo. Their previous 14.5" laptops with the RTX 3050 were not part of the Legion lineup, and were more productivity/Photoshop machines. This is more directly supposed to compete with the Asus G14's. All jibes at the 4060 aside, it's a huge step up from the 3050, and this looks to be a very competent, compact gaming laptop. Waiting for it to go under $1k is reasonable, but I doubt it will see $600 for a very long time, if ever.

That's disappointing… but generally OLED has very fast response time - my ZenBook Flip's OLED is 0.3ms. That may help offset the lack of VRR and Gsync/FreeSync, but I can't say how much.
No usb4. No G/Free sync flicker-free displays or MUX switch. No ethernet either.
This is supposed to be a legion not ideapad/LOQ. Lenovo went to sleep on this one.
400 nits for OLED display is weird. My Samsung tv has 1000+nits
Your Samsung TV also doesn't need to be able to run off of battery power. Output of 400 nits is pretty solid for laptops, IIRC 500+ nits is considered usable in direct sunlight.
No usb4, or 32GB option. No G/Free sync flicker-free displays or MUX switch. No ethernet either.
