I also purchased a couple of packs a while back, and they work great for me.

Any tula devices can just use the general smart life app instead of the manufacturer app that is usually just smart life with a wrapper anyway

Just want to throw this out there, this brand popped up before and it was a deal "too cheap to pass on" but after using them they just aren't worth it given the price of kasa, which also pops up a lot. The issue is the schedules don't always run as they are set. It is obviously a first world problem but I bought 2 and wouldn't do it again. I've never had this issue with kasa units.

My question is how long it will be supported? 1 month, 1 year? Is it worse the risk when Kasa is not that expensive?

For what it's worth, KMC is a brand that's been around for a number of years. I've had some smart switches (not this form factor though) for three or four years and they have worked with no issues at all.

[UPDATE: Wend down the rabithole and figured it out, unfortunately, not compatible]

WARNING: New Tuya devices have replaced their Wi-Fi module with one incompatible with Tasmota!!!
Could someone who has one at hand tell me what the FCC ID for this unit is? I want to check if it's compatible with Tasmota (https://tasmota.github.io/docs/) it's a way to put custom firmware so that devices never have to call home their manufacturer's server.
Thank you!

What do people use these for? I bought a 3 pack last year to use for Xmas lights but besides that, I can't think of other uses for them.

We should be able to connect with Alexa (or similar AI devices) and use our voice commands to on/off the device that is connected to these.

Looks like Tuya - so they should work in the smart life app and with home assistant via Tuya integration
